Eco Terrorist, an Unreal Tournament PPM
Released by BurntKona

Model Name: Eco Terrorist

Installation: Unzip the UMOD file into a temporary directory, and double click it. You will be presented with a setup screen which will guide you through the rest of the installation. The latest UT patch (436) and Bonus Pack 4 need to be installed. These can be found at all good Unreal Tournament sites.

Authors: Original concept and skins by Mario 'StrangeFate' Vazquez.
Model by John 'Malekyth' Sheffield.
Initial animation work (selection screen, run and walk cycles) by HotFat.
Pulling it all together and squeezing it into UT by Jon 'BurntKona' Murphy.

Model Description: Criminal File 0001151M-ET
Classification: Eco Terrorist
Suggested Sentance: Deathmatch
Notes: They want to kill? Let them kill other criminals and entertain us at the same time!

The EcoTerrorist's main concern is the preservation of life, or rather the preservation of life as it pertains to nature's grand scheme. They are pro planet yet anti human. They believe humanity to be a blight or accident that never should have happened. And yes, they are aware of the irony of their own ancestry in regards to their philosophy.

Other Info: Eco Terrorist... a model two years in the making! Originally concepted and created for a Quake2 mod, it was eventually dusted off and put up for grabs on a messageboard for someone to finish. I remembered seeing animated .gifs of this guy on Mal's site, and immediately snapped him up to put into UT.

Additional Credits: James Green of Epic for his support of the PPM community,
Npherno for UnrealNST.
R13 and the crew for the Polycount website.

FAQ

In a bid to save my inbox and my fingers from excessive typing, here is a list of questions that I get sent over and over again... if you email me with question that is answered here, I won't answer you back, but as you are reading this, then I guess you won't be, if that makes any sense. Hopefully, the answers here will make more.

Question: Why does the zip contains only one UMOD file? Where is the model and where is the texture?
Answer: A UMOD file contains all the bits you need, and puts them where they areneeded... just double click the UMOD file, and input the path information it asks for. If you are having trouble, more detailed info can be found here.

Question: Please could you make this skin/model, because it would ROCK!
Answer: No... this stuff takes time, so I do it because I want to see whatever skin/model in the game. If you like it too, thats great :)

Question: Could you work on our mod?
Answer: Sorry, but no. I'm already up to my eyeballs in my dayjob and working on the Unreal Fortress Mod.

Question: How do you make skins/models?
Answer: The resurce sections of polycount will put you in touch with all the information and tools that you need.

Question: Why won't the model/skin work when I play online?
Answer: The skin/model needs to installed on the server, and that would mean anybody that doesn't have them would have the files sent to their machine, whether anyone was actually using them or not. This means server admins steer clear of any custom content other than popular mods and levels.
