Harlequin

High Warlock

version 1.00

If you’re reading this you probably want to know about this model... Well, it's finished???

This model was created from a cube to teach myself how to model, UV, rig, and import into Unreal Tournament. I started the model back in July 01' when I was working in Hollywood, CA on a film project. I am a Maya rendering and shading network guy, and when your rendering you spend a lot of time sitting around doing nothing. So, when I was waiting for my frames to render I started this low poly character.

One of the main reasons I wanted to create this character was because of my love for the Games Workshop games. I used to paint the miniatures and play the game back in the day. I even entered the famous Golden Daemon Painting competitions, and I won first place for North America and got a really cool life size boltgun as a prize.

I always knew the WARHAMMER characters would look great in a 3D engine running around battling one another. I hope to make more Warhammer models, maybe a Warp Spider... well see

I hope you enjoy the model,

Peace-

Huge thanks to:

-Simon "Psychic_313" McVittie- for his great AMS tutorial. That tutorial was like a Rosetta Stone for creating this character... Thanks

Also like to thank the guys who created "Space Marine 40k" model. I was inspired to bring this character into Unreal after seeing your Space Marine.

PS. We should make a real WARHAMMER 40k game, one that wouldn't SUCK.
